Privacy Policy
Grade values, weights, question counts, and calculator results are processed in your browser and are not intentionally sent to GradeCompute.
Who is responsible for this site
The data controller is Iuliana Luntrasu, a sole trader trading as Grade Compute in Ireland. Grade Compute is registered under business name registration number 792677, registered on 4 September 2026.
Calculator data
Core calculations run locally. Do not enter names, student IDs, class names, school records, or other personal information. GradeCompute does not require an account or cloud grade storage.
Local preferences and workspace
Your browser may store the custom grading scale, display precision, rounding preference, privacy choice, and scenarios that you deliberately save to My Workspace. Saved scenarios can include the numeric inputs, settings, calculated summary, and the anonymous label you choose. They remain in this browser and are not intentionally transmitted to GradeCompute, although a browser or device-level sync feature outside GradeCompute may copy local storage.
Calculator values are not remembered unless you choose Save this scenario privately. The workspace keeps at most 30 scenarios. Clear saved preferences from the main Grade Calculator, delete individual workspace scenarios, or use Clear all saved scenarios. Clearing browser site data, private-browsing cleanup, or changing devices may also remove them. Do not use My Workspace as an official record and do not put names, IDs, or other personal information in scenario labels.
Offline cache
A service worker may place GradeCompute calculator pages, scripts, styles, icons, and the private-workspace shell in browser Cache Storage so the tools can reopen after a complete online visit. The cache contains site files, not a server copy of entered grades. It requests and caches same-origin GradeCompute files only. You can remove it by clearing this site's browser data or unregistering the service worker in browser settings.
Analytics and advertising
Optional analytics and advertising remain disabled unless they are configured, permitted by the applicable consent signal, and enabled for the site. Allowed analytics describe calculator name, mode, and action only. Entered numbers and results must never be sent as analytics parameters.
Processors, retention, and rights
Hosting providers necessarily process technical request data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and security logs. When analytics, consent, or advertising providers are activated, this policy will name the actual processors, purposes, and retention settings. You may use the privacy contact to request information, object, or exercise rights available under applicable law.
Contact and changes
Privacy questions should include only the information needed to answer the request. This policy is reviewed when a new processor or data purpose is introduced, and before advertising is activated.
